The Today screen: focus for today, today's trades so far, and open positions

Built for the trenches

Most traders don't lose on one bad coin. They lose to the same habits over and over. This journal shows you which ones.

Fast trade logging

Paste the contract address and the coin fills in from DexScreener. Risk % is worked out from your portfolio size.

Real P&L

Totals and a calendar view in SOL or USD, GBP, EUR or JPY, with fees included.

A journal that fills itself in

Every day gets a summary of its trades: P&L, wins and losses, mood, plan and best and worst trade.

Focus for today

Flags your patterns from the last few days, like FOMO entries, broken rules, low sleep or skipped journaling.

Grade your process

Rate each trade A to D on discipline, not luck, and see how your grades line up with results.

Private by design

No account, no cloud, no tracking. Your data is one file on your machine, with export and import for backups.

Look inside

Screenshots use invented demo data.

Get started

Takes about two minutes.

  1. Install Node.js 22.13 or newer (the current LTS is fine).
  2. Download the zip from the latest release and extract it.
  3. Windows: double-click Trenching Journal.bat. Mac/Linux: run ./start.sh. It opens in your browser.

Stay safe

  • Only download it from github.com/808alex/Trenching-Journal or this page. Copies posted anywhere else may have been changed.
  • The app never asks for your seed phrase, private key or a wallet connection, and it can't move funds. Anything claiming to be it that asks for those is a scam.
  • It only runs on your own computer. Other devices on your network and other websites can't reach it.
